"Medi-Go Plus was a nonprofit organization offering Troy residents over the age of 60 and Troy residents with disabilities door-to-door transportation to medical appointments, the Troy Community Center, and other important destinations. The best news for those who need this helpful service is that they are now free, as the $2 donation has been eliminated. In addition, the manager, schedulers, and bus drivers are now city employees, according to Department of Public Works Director Kurt Bovensiep. The City of Troy has rebranded this service by changing the name to Troy R.Y.D.E., Reach Your Destination Easily."To read the entire article, click here to open the 10/28/19 online version of the Gazette.
