Troy Zoning Board of Appeals - October 2017 Meeting Recap

City staff has posted the video recording of the 10/17/17 Troy Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) meeting to YouTube. At the bottom of this post is the video.

There were two items on the agenda and they are listed below.
  • 383 Hickory. "Requests for variances to allow 1) the new residence to be 4 feet from the side property line where the Zoning Ordinance requires a minimum 5 foot setback; and 2) to allow the total of both side yard setbacks to be 13.15 feet where the Zoning Ordinance requires a minimum of 15 feet."

    The ZBA voted to approve the variance. I voted no on the motion to approve the variance.

  • 755 Marengo. "A variance from the requirement that a shed be set back 6 feet from the property line. The shed, which is currently under construction, is set back 5 feet from the side property line."

    The ZBA voted to approve the variance. I voted yes on the motion to approve the variance.
