2014 Theological Conference on Church, State, and Culture in Troy

The Michigan District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod will be sponsoring a Theological Conference on Church, State, and Culture at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

I'm thinking about attending this conference to see if I can gain any new insights from these featured conference speakers:

• Rev. Dr. Joel Lehenbauer ... Executive Director of the Commission on Theology & Church Relations (CTCR) for The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

• Rev. Dr. Korey D. Maas ... Assistant Professor of History at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, MI.

• Dr. Dale A. Meyer ... President of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO.

I'm hoping the speakers clearly explain the Two Realms (“Kingdoms”) as "confessed" in the Book of Concord. Too many "Lutherans" are totally unaware of these teachings when it comes to their policy and philosophical preferences in politics and government.
