Troy Transit Center and Bus Rapid Transit

At the 8/12/13 Troy City Council meeting, Troy City Engineer/Project Manager Steven J. Vandette presented an August 2013 Transit Center Status Report. Click here to view/print his report.

Unfortunately, I did not see any mention in this report of plans to utilize the Troy Transit Center as one of the major stops on the proposed regional system of rapid-transit buses. I hope that was an oversight and that our City staff plans to initiate these discussions with John Hertel, the new CEO of the new Regional Transit Authority for Southeastern Michigan.
