Katie Lambert on Good Morning Vail

No, we haven't become a food and cooking blog. But, our niece Katie was recently a guest on Good Morning Vail (GMV). Katie, an Assistant Pastry Chef at the Larkspur Restaurant in Vail, CO, was showing one of the program hosts how to make some yummy desserts. We've only been to Vail once. If we return in the near future, we look forward to trying one of Katie's dessert creations at the Larkspur Restaurant.

  1. My wife and I went to Vail in the late 90's...beautiful place. Obviously your niece wasn't at that restaurant at the time, but I think we did eat there one night. Here's a good tip, if you don't want to go during ski season. Start your trip Labor Day weekend, then stay the week after. It's busy during the holiday weekend, but empties out after that and you can really enjoy the town itself. At least that was true back then, not sure about now.
