Completing the Soaring Eagle Boy Scout Half Marathon

Before the race
I completed my fifth half-marathon earlier today. It was the Soaring Eagle Boy Scout Half Marathon in Bowling Green, Ohio. It was a very hot and humid run. I was hoping to improve my finishing time but the heat and humidity quickly told my body that it was going to be enough to just finish this at my normal 11 minute per mile pace.

Other than the weather conditions, this was a good course because it was very flat. It was also nice because it was not crowded with runners. Great job by the Erie Shores Council of the Boy Scout of America for running a well-organized race.

I've posted some additional photos below.
